Nicole Kidman's relationship with her two older children, from her former marriage with Tom Cruise, is fairly unknown, but that doesn't mean something is wrong.

The Australian actress is mother to adopted children, Connor, 19, and Isabelle, 21, but is rarely seen with either of them.

Once Kidman divorced from Cruise in 2001, the children decided to live with their father, and ever since then tabloids have claimed that there is a rift between the family.

However, Connor, who is an aspiring DJ, recently put all these rumors to bed, and described his relationship with Kidman as "solid."

"I love my [mom]," the 19 year-old said to Woman's Day Australia.

"I don't care what people say," he continued. "I know that me and Mum are solid."

Kidman met Cruise while filming 'Days of Thunder' in 1989, and married one year later on Christmas Eve (1990). The pair announced their separation on Feb 5th 2001 and finalized their divorce in August of that year, with the 'Mission Impossible' actor citing "irreconcilable differences."

The 46 year-old actress is now remarried to Australian country music star Keith Urban, whom with she has two younger daughters. But this doesn't mean Kidman has neglected her other children.

"I love her a lot," Connor continued. "My family means everything. Yeah, I love my music, but the family comes before everything else."

Kidman now divides her time between her home country of Australia and Nashville, meaning it is harder to see Connor and Isabella on a regular basis.

"Isabella does still speak to Nicole, as does Connor, just not as much as they used to when they were younger and Tom and Nicole were together," an Us Weekly source said in 2012. "Nicole is far away and doesn't visit L.A. often so there's naturally going to be that distance."

But for the time being everything seems good!
