Although Nicki Minaj only split with her rumoured boyfriend of 14 years Safaree Samuels earlier this year, many reports have claimed that the 32-year-old star has already moved on with Philadelphia-born rapper Meek Mill.

The pair have further fuelled speculation that they are a couple after posting several snaps of themselves on Instagram looking very comfortable with one another, and the hip-hop duo were also seen together enjoying the NBA All-Star Weekend in NYC.

During a recent interview with Vogue, Minaj finally opens up about the nature of her relationship with Meek Mill, but despite talking about the "single life," she doesn't say enough to completely squash the rumour that they are a couple.

"Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun," she told the magazine. "This is what I want to say about him: People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We've been friends for a very, very long time, and he's been around for a lot of things that I've gone through. And that's all I'll say about that."

When she was directly asked about being single, Minaj's response was once again very inexact as she said, "I'll just say that I haven't had this much fun in years. Yeah, I am partying, and I am freer, and I am just enjoying myself and my life."

The 'Anaconda' rapper may be enjoying herself more than ever because of success of her latest studio album 'The Pinkprint,' which debuted at No.2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, but this achievement came at a price.

"I did get exhausted last year," she said. "I promised myself that when I put out Pinkprint, I would take some time to live my life and not care what other people said about me. I find that people feel like they know what I've gone through in the past two years, and they don't. I've seen so much judgment. If people knew what I've really gone through, they'd think I was Mother Teresa. I've taken so much shit, so much betrayal, and I still remain classy about it."
