'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' star Nia Vardalos talks about the frequent use of the window cleaner brand Windex in the movie at a book signing for her new book 'Instant Mom' at St. Demetrois Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She explained how her dad discovered it was good for the removal of warts as it was 'astringent but still soft'. She wrote to the company asking if they could use it in the movie 'and also say that it had properties that it might not possess', and they granted subsequently granted them permission.
