Rapper Will.I.AM is aiming to make recycling more appealing to fans by releasing a pair of headphones made of reused materials.
The Black Eyed Peas rapper is joining forces with bosses at Coca-Cola to launch the Ekocycle headphones, which carry a $349 (£218) price tag and are set to hit shelves in autumn (12).
He says, "If you think about (recycled) products now, none of them are cool. You have to bring some art and fashion sensibility into this technology that turns a bottle into something cool."
The Ekocycle line will also include hats made by the New Era Cap Company, which will be priced at $32 (£20) and available early next year (13).
