While We'Re Up rocker Zach Booher has been killed in a car accident.
The singer, who was one-half of the Arizona-based pop-punk duo, died in western Wisconsin on Sunday (08Jul12). He was 22.
Booher, bandmate Steven Rouk and another pal were driving from Chicago, Illinois to Shakopee, Minnesota when they lost control of their car after a tyre blew out. The young rocker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rouk, was also injured in the crash but he is currently recovering at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. The two rockers' travel companion also survived the crash.
A post on the band's Facebook.com page reads, "No one can speak in words the tragedy of losing Zach. He was not only an amazing musician in While We're Up, but he was also an irreplaceable friend to countless numbers of people."
An investigation into the accident is currently underway.
The duo was among the travelling acts on the Vans Warped Tour, which features groups Taking Back Sunday and New Found Glory.
