Nashville actress Connie Britton, Julie Bowen of Modern Family and Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter are among the Tv stars who have cleared out their closets to raise money for charity.

Mad Men's Alison Brie, Emily Deschanel, Tori Spelling and Whitney Cummings have also raided their wardrobes and donated their designer clothes, shoes and bags to CoachArt.org, a non-profit arts group for terminally and chronically ill children.

Among the items up for grabs on the Tradesy.com website are Britton's $400 (£260) Jimmy Choo high heels and Brie's $274 (£177) romper from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's line Elizabeth and James.
