Finnish rocker Mikko Laine has been killed in a bizarre truck accident in Holland.
The Sole Remedy guitarist, 30, is believed to have been asleep backstage after performing at the ProgPower Europe festival in Baarlo on Sunday night (02Oct11) when a vehicle carrying stage equipment reversed over him.
Blabbermouth.net reports Laine was sleeping next to a fence. He died at the site.
Initial reports incorrectly suggested his bandmate Henry Silmonen was killed in the accident.
