Just when you thought the drama of Rihanna’s 777 tour was long gone, her documentary brings all of those memories back to the fore, as well as being a nice long advert for her latest album.

So to laden you with some unnecessary conext: Rihanna played 7 concerts in 7 different countries and travelled to each destination on a Boeing 777, and brought along a load of journalists for the ride. That last bit has nothing to do with ‘7’, but it was interesting… for a while. You’ll remember endless reports that the journalists were having a truly awful time, not getting any contact with RiRi herself. One of them even decided to strip off and run up and down the plane in a sort of weird, feverish naked protest. Of course, this aspect isn’t really focussed upon in the doc, rather the innovative nature of her tour is the central point. Rihanna fans are going to lap this up, but anyone looking to learn more about the star might want to steer clear, as the general consensus is that it’s a pile of contrived PR.

Rihanna, 25 was recently booed off in Boston after she was a whopping three hours late for a show. She didn’t display any contrition, though, and simply waltzed on stage and launched into her show. This angered many fans, who took to twitter to air their grievances. She didn’t care much, and simply Tweeted: “#BOSTON I will never forget this night!!! I truly have deeper love for you now!!! Thank you for making it extra special!! #DWT.”
