Rapper Bobby Shmurda has pleaded not guilty to a drug possession charge.
The hip-hop newcomer, real name Ackquille Pollard, was slapped with the count in October (14) after he was allegedly caught smoking a marijuana joint while sitting in a double parked car with two friends in his native Brooklyn, New York.
He spent the night behind bars and appeared in a Big Apple courtroom on Monday (24Nov14) to answer the charge, reports Tmz.com.
Last month's (Oct14) arrest was Shmurda's second in four months - he was already on bail for a June (14) bust for felony criminal possession of a weapon, which carries a sentence of up to 15 years.
