Olivia Rodrigo was terrified on the opening night of her 'GUTS' world tour.
The 21-year-old singer admitted to moments of doubt just before she took to the stage, where she told herself she should have rehearsed more.
She told PEOPLE: "I was like, ‘I should have rehearsed more… like I needed three more weeks to rehearse this thing. But I was like, ‘Oh well, I’m gonna go on.'"
However, following a successful first performance, she shared the celebrations with her family and friends.
She said: "I remember coming off stage and my mom, my dad, and all my friends were there to support me and just cheering. We popped champagne. And it was such a beautiful moment. I’ll remember it forever.”
She also revealed how terrified she was to play the piano on stage during the early shows.
Olivia said: "I was so scared that I was going to mess up. And in the last ones, I feel like could really, like, sit into it and just enjoy myself.”
Olivia has joined forces with Netflix for the 'Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour' documentary, which will be released next week and she can't wait to share the ups and downs of the experience with fans.
She previously said: "I am so excited to share the 'GUTS world tour with my fans. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in-person, now you can have the best seats in the house! And to the fans who cheered, screamed, and danced with me, I am so glad we get to do it all over again!"
