The cast of TV comedy hit Modern Family will return to work on Thursday (26Jul12) after a two-day stand-off over salaries.
A full cast table read has been set for 10.30am local time in Los Angeles after an initial get-together on Tuesday (24Jul12) was scrapped when Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara failed to show after filing a lawsuit against 20th Century Fox bosses to void their contracts.
According to Deadline.com, the cast members have agreed to return to production as part of a "good-will gesture" with the hopes of resolving the salary issues which led to the lawsuit.
20th Century Fox executives have declined to comment on the salary negotiations, but they have confirmed to TVGuide.com that the table read has been rescheduled.
