Leigh-Anne Pinnock would like to learn Portuguese in 2023.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock is keen to brush up on her language skills in the new year.
The 32-year-old singer, who was previously a member of Little Mix, revealed that she is hoping to learn Portuguese in 2024, but admitted that might only be wishful thinking.
She told BANG Showbiz: “I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions. I never stick to them, but if I had to say one, [I’d say] learn a language - Portuguese. It’s really hard to learn, but I feel if I stick to it … you never know.”
While 2023 saw Leigh-Anne launch her solo career with 'Don't Say Love' in June, and tie the knot with long-term partner Andre Grey - the father of her two-year-old twins - she has teased next year will be even bigger for her.
Asked what fans can expect from her in 2024, she teased: “More music. More magic. More visuals. More Leigh-Anne.”
The musician emphasised that her fans would have to be patient, and shouldn’t expect anything very soon, but reassured that something big was indeed still on the way.
She said: “There is still a lot of prep to do, but there’s definitely something brewing, so I’m quite excited.”
The 'My Love' singer previously revealed she is keen to highlight her black heritage because she has "full creative control" over her image.
She told Apple Music 1: "It's just a part of who I am. I think there was only so much that I could show of that in the group, and that was fine because that was what it was.
"But now it's like I have this full creative control and I can just express who I am and what I love and that it's just been the most amazing thing. I feel like people are really going to get to know the real me."
