5 Weeks Before Due Date, Kim Kardashian Gives Birth To Baby Girl

It has happened, lo and behold: Kim Kardashian is finally a mother! After months upon months of the Kardashians’ reality show, along with almost every news outlet covering each and every minute aspect of the eldest Kardashian sister’s pregnancy, it is finally over. Kim has given birth to a baby girl, TMZ reports.

According to the website’s sources, the most discussed pregnancy of the past year ended with a natural birth. Kim began having contractions Friday night and gave birth early on Saturday at the renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Mother and baby are both safe and well, despite the fact that the reality star went into labor a full month before her due date. Despite the lack of complications, it is yet unknown when Kim and the as-of-yet-unnamed baby will be released.

But the most heartwarming part of this story has to be the fact that Kim and boyfriend Kanye West were together the entire time. Kanye was going to attend his record release party that night, but reportedly cancelled the appearance, when his girlfriend mentioned that she was feeling “a little off.” When she went into labor, Kanye went into the delivery room with her.
