Dinner with Gregg Wallace ended in a scuffle.
Maybe the pudding wasn't to his liking, but something riled MasterChef's Gregg Wallace at the Wood Norton Hotel in Evesham over the weekend.
At a ticketed event billed as 'Dinner with Gregg Wallace,' it is claimed that Wallace, 48, brawled with another man before being dragged apart by guests.
According to The Sun, it is claimed Wallace, 48, took issue with an unnamed man and knocked him to the floor. Some reports suggest the television star was reacting to comments or advances made to his girlfriend Anne-Marie Sterpini.
A photograph in tabloid appears to show Wallace being restrained as he grapples with another man on the floor.
However, it seems the overcooked beef was cleared up pretty quickly and an unnamed source quoted in the Daily Mail said the pair made up and "shared a whisky in the bar together."
The TV star's spokesman confirmed to the BBC he had been "involved in a disagreement" with a guest though that the issue was "swiftly resolved."
Around 80 diners had paid around £225 to attend the event, where they enjoyed a five-course meal in the presence of the MasterChef judge, known for his love of rich puddings.
A former market trader, Wallace began co-hosting the popular BBC cooking show with John Torode in 2005.
