Latin variety star Charo has been forced to give up her beloved pet bull after neighbours complained about the animal's smell.
The Spanish-American entertainer adopted the calf after it was featured in an anti-bullfighting video she made for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) in 2009.
But she has now removed the bull, which she named Manolo, from her Los Angeles property after nearby residents complained about the smell of its faeces.
Charo tells the Associated Press, "Beverly Hills people complain (about the aroma)."
The bull is now being kept at a horse farm in Malibu, where Charo can visit.
