Titanic director James Cameron is set to host a TV show about the doomed ship to mark the 100th anniversary of the ocean disaster.
The moviemaker, who is a deep-sea diving enthusiast, will present a two-hour special for the National Geographic channel, which will air in America on 9 April (12) - days before the anniversary of the ship's sinking on 15 April, 1912.
Cameron will gather a number of Titanic experts on a studio soundstage with a giant replica of the great ship in a bid to come up with the ultimate answer as to why the vessel sank.
A statement from TV bosses reads, "An investigation of this magnitude has never been attempted before, and some of the revelations may alter the fundamental interpretation of what exactly happened to the Titanic."
Cameron's Oscar-winning movie about the disaster will also be re-released in 3D on 4 April (12).
