This Et Al Baby Machine Album

You know that there is going to be a certain element of introspection and depth to a record when the band takes pains to outline the fact that the recording process was analogue only. This level of purity, focus and obsession certainly comes out in the music in this case.

Opening track "The Loveliest Alarm' is a dark and brooding herald of sounds to come from this Leeds outfit. They manage to pull off with Baby Machine what many of the also-rans fail to do, namely deliver an indie rock album with passion and positive energy.

There is a certain seriousness about this whole album, a sort of, a less operatic, but more dense version of Muse. This Et Al deserve to be, and no doubt will be, absolutely massive.
