Movie star Ned Beatty is still haunted by the memory of rape scenes he starred in 30 years ago.
Beatty hated filming the sodomy scenes in 1972 thriller DELIVERANCE and he still struggles to talk about them, according to pal and co-star BURT REYNOLDS.
Reynolds even took Beatty back to the Georgia area where the film was shot on a river trip - in the hope the experience would help his pal exorcise his demons.
But the plan went awry when the couple found themselves part of a Deliverance Rapids Ride.
Reynolds says, "I said, 'Where are we going to stop for lunch?' and the guide said, 'Sodomy Creek.' Ned limped off the boat and he never wanted to go back."
