Supermodel Naomi Campbell has gotten into some trouble recently and it wasn’t even of her own making.

The 42 year-old model was attacked by two thugs in Paris on November 21 last year, just as she was trying to get into her car. Apparently, the two thugs had attempted to steal her handbag, but failed. Ms Campbell reportedly refused emergency medical care after the incident. Naomi received treatment for a suspected torn ligament immediately after the attack. Her boyfriend, billionaire Vladimir Doronin, immediately flew her to Vail, Colorado, where she was treated by Dr. J. Richard Steadman, a leading specialist in his field.

Despite the expert medical care, however, Naomi has been in a wheelchair ever since the incident, The New York Post Report. She hasn’t made a public statement about the attack just yet, and no new information has been revealed. However, it seems that Campbell is recovering nicely. “I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine,” she said, when contacted by the Post about her assault. Meanwhile, her attackers have not been apprehended and their identities are still unknown. All anyone can do at this point, is wish the lady a speedy recovery.
