Guys. N Sync reunion. It happened. As with most classic pop culture moments, it happened during an episode of SNL. And the Backstreet Boys were there too. It wasn’t a coincidence either, as Valentine’s Day marked SNL’s 40th anniversary episode, so they had to make it a bit more special.

Who even needs a Valentine, when you've got the full line-up of N Sync together again.

The N Sync guys tweeted about their appearance earlier in the day, from their official account: "'Together again...Gee, it's good to be together again' #SNL40.”

N Sync parted ways way back when in 2002, but Chris Kirkpatrick, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass have remained close friend since, collaborated, even attended each other’s weddings. It’s kind of adorable actually.

BSB, meanwhile, has never officially said Bye, Bye, Bye to its fans. Together since 1993, Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, and Kevin Richardson released their eighth studio album, In a World Like This, in 2013. While the lineup has changed, there’s nothing to indicate that we’ll be losing that powerhouse of pop anytime soon. Because it was the anniversary, no clips from the three-hour live show have made it up online at this point, but we’ll be waiting patiently. It was definitely a Valentine’s to remember. Now the only thing we need is a reunion album - full of mellow love songs, natch.
