The Breaks co-op
the sound inside
Given that the talents of UK Radio 1's Zane Lowe are normally to be found spinning the tunes, rather than writing them, the fact that he is involved with the Break Co-op should not really prejudice the listener one way or the other. Given the man's usually diverse playlist, his presence on an album actually prompts a desire to listen and find out what his own music sounds like. What you will find is an amazingly eclectic mix of sounds, somewhere between folk and 70s rock, with touches of modern electronica. Think Gomez meets America. This is a truly mesmerising mixture, with a laid back, calm feel to it. Beautiful music for lazy summer days.
