4. Eardrum Deadbeat EP (12" - (The Leaf Label))

The Clangers gatecrashing a tribal war dance with Fela Kuti leading on percussion, or something you could expect to hear at the Glastonbury Festival, at daybreak, at the infamous Stone Circle surrounded by the relentless 24 hour drumming of forty wired insomniacs. Get the picture? Deadbeat is plainly and simply a barrage of live tribal and Celtic percussion. This EP has been created to demonstrate the power of the drum, which it does admirably. However, pleasurable listening it certainly isnt.
