What do Muse, the Foo Fighters, Pharrell Williams and Robbie Williams all have in common? They are four out of the nine massive headliners at this year’s Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands.

Festival season hots up with more acts announced at Pinkpop in the Netherlands

Along with Sam Smith, Elbow, The Script, Anouk and Avicii, this line up of pop superstars will be playing on the weekend of Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 15 in Holland.

Altogether the oldest and longest running annual festival dedicated to pop and rock music Pinkpop has so far announced 31 new acts to its programme with the final 13 promised soon.

Other new acts due to perform include George Ezra, One Republic and Paloma Faith among many more.

Stage 4 will also return and will host East Cameron Folkcore, Ewert and the Two Dragons, Pierce Brothers and Pop Evil and danceable closing tent acts DJ’s Waxfield and Prime ft. Jebroer & Adje, Joost Van Bellen and Willie Wartaal and Doppelgang will appear.

Since 1988, Pinkpop has been held in the town of Landgraaf in the province of Limburg and will be there again this year.

Tickets for the 46th edition of Pinkpop are due to go on sale on Saturday, February 28 and are available from www.ticketmaster.nl.
