Everyone's favourite categories have a few surprises.
The MTV Movie Award nominees are upon us and with it a few more stars that haven't yet been recognised for their 2015 efforts at the major film events so far. Of course, we went straight to the Best Fight and Best Kiss list - and we weren't disappointed.
Leonardo Dicaprio can take on any bear
Of course, the number one contender for Best Fight is Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio, who's character Hugh Glass fought a bear in 'The Revenant'; a jaw-dropping scene for anyone who got chance to see it at theaters. But then you've got Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa and Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky in 'Mad Max: Fury Road' which was pretty intense, with the former putting up a damn good fight against the ultimately glorious latter. More girl on guy action came with 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' - Rey (Daisy Ridley) vs. Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) - which actually leads the list with 10 nominations.
The record-breaking box office smash received a staggering 11 nominations, including for its young stars John Boyega and Daisy Ridley.
Having been snubbed in all five of its categories at the Oscars recently, with no recognition in any of the acting categories or for Best Picture, the slightly more irreverent and pop culture-oriented MTV Movie Awards may see the record-breaking film get better luck.

The big news this morning has to be the Mtv Movie Awards. Since it’s so far out of awards season and generally awards the biggest movies of the year, the awards are a good way to see where the wind is blowing, for this summer, in terms of blockbusters. So here is your much needed rundown. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire won Movie of the Year (is anyone really surprised) and still mostly rules the young adult and sci-fi scenes, with new hopeful Divergent. Meanwhile, the red carpet was just as eventful.
America's favorite Young Hollywood leads are yet to be dethroned.
Parks & Rec’s Chris Pratt, who is set to have one epic summer with Guardians of the Galaxy, stopped for some red carpet interviews and said he and wife Anna Faris are working on developing Vacation Friends, a comedy recently bought by Fox. "It will be a chance for us to work together again," he said. "It's in the preliminary stages,” Pratt told USA Today.
The 50 year-old comedian has put a lot of money on Chris Hemsworth to win the coveted award, but if this doesn't work out then O'Brien is in big trouble.
The 50 year-old will not be just concentrating on making sure his emceeing skills are up to scratch, he will also be paying close attention to one of the most coveted awards of the night.
O'Brien has put a big bet on Chirrs Hemsworth to take home the Best Shirtless Performance award, and if he doesn't then the talk-show host is in a lot of trouble.

Conan O'Brien will be hosting the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, the nominees for which have only just been announced. The comedian announced the news on his TBS talkshow, Conan, earlier this week ahead of the April 13th ceremony. Taking the baton from last year's host Rebel Wilson, 2014 will be the first time that Conan has hosted the movie awards.
Conan O'Brien Will Host The 2014 Mtv Movie Awards.
O'Brien is no stranger to hosting such glamorous awards show though: he has hosted the Emmy Awards twice. The Emmy-awarded comedian joked: "After eight years of intense negations, I am honoured to announce I am hosting MTV's second most prestigious awards show."
It's been a busy week for the film industry. Iron Man 3 has been busy hosting premiere screenings around the world, CinemaCon has seen screenings and exclusive clips from the likes of Star Trek and World War Z AND there's been fantastic trailers for lots of new films including The Lone Ranger, The Hunger Games & Man Of Steel.
Cinemas are now fully in the grip of blockbuster season, with Tom Cruise's Oblivion and Gerard Butler's Olympus Has Fallen expanding their reach into new countries this week.
And next week sees Iron Man 3 begin its global assault. Stars Robert Downey Jr, Rebecca Hall, Ben Kingsley and Don Cheadle were in London this week for the film's premiere. Director Shane Black even took time out to do a stand-up routine with cowriter Drew Pearce to introduce the first UK press screening.
This is becoming a common occurrence
Soon, there’ll be an award for Best Award Acceptance Interruption at the Mtv Movie Awards, we’re sure of it; it's just becoming the ‘done thing’. The latest was Aubry Plaza, as she stunted Will Ferrell’s acceptance of the Comic Genius award.
Will, 45, told the crowd: “Aubrey Plaza, everyone – just like we rehearsed it. Perfect, it was perfect. Not too long, not too short. Right on the money.” Afterwards, she took to Twitter and wrote: “Thanks for the advice @kanyewest went better than planned! #mtvmovieawards #chrisbosh #thesecret.” MTV confirmed that the event was not planned, while Will joked backstage: “I think she wanted to tell me something important but there was no message – it was just a lot of hot liquor breath. And then, a little bit of sweat. Then she ran away. But the ship sailed on.” Was Kanye West's legendary interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards the inspiration?
Elsewhere at the awards, The Avengers won three, including the top prize, movie of the year. "What's the opposite of humbled? We're Biebered to be standing here," said Avengers writer-director Joss Whedon as he accepted the final golden popcorn trophy. "This is the award that means the most to me. I am so grateful and very excited for 2015; we're going to bring you Avengers 2."' Rebel Wilson stole the show, though, with her ridiculously rude gags and satirical look at pop culture.

Among MTV Movie Award winners this year were Rebel Wilson, Jamie Foxx and Tom Hiddleston as well as their respective movies.
The 2013 MTV Movie Awards relived some of our favourite movie moments from the past year as the most entertaining actors were presented their well-deserved awards.
With flicks such as 'The Avengers', 'Django Unchained' and 'Pitch Perfect' keeping us firmly in our seats at the movie theatre over the past 12 months, we couldn't have expected anything less to come of this year's MTV Awards. Movie of the Year understandably went to Joss Whedon's Marvel blockbuster 'The Avengers' and Whedon was there to collect the accolade alongside the film's stars Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston and Chris Evans. The Best Musical Moment award was collected by the cast of comedy musical 'Pitch Perfect' - Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean and Hana Mae Lee - while Rebel also picked up the award for Breakthrough Performance.
Wilson was a popular choice to host the MTV Movie Awards.
Rebel Wilson’s MTV Movie Awards were very, well, ‘Rebel Wilson’. She’s dedicated to her shtick: the no-frills, unflinching style of comedy that has lead her to be one of the most popular comediennes today. Here are some of her best (or rudest) jokes from the awards.

Billie Eilish is back with possibly her most chilled out song yet. 'My Future' comes alongside a melancholy animated video starring Billie herself.
