Jesse is already aware of the dangers of making a wrong move in the crime-led neighbourhood of Oxnard, California, but nothing would prepare him for a curious venture into the unknown that would engulf his soul in darkness. During a heavy party session, they see the body of a woman from the apartment downstairs being taken away as ambulances and police swarm the street. In a bid to uncover the mystery behind her death, Jesse and his friends sneak into the apartment where they find pools of blood everywhere, some strange looking video tapes and an altar decked with black magic paraphernalia. As time goes on, he starts to feel not quite himself as a supernatural and highly malicious force begins to take hold of him.
