Ok, so we know you fickle bunch want to know who the Golden Globes' best dressed stars were for 2013. You don't give a damn about Argo winning Best Picture, or Ben Affleck winning Best Director right? You want to know who got it right on the red carpet, and we don't blame you.
One thing particularly apparent at the Golden Globes 2013 was that actresses were prepared to take style chances. Not every outfit worked out, but it was worth the risk for many of Hollywood's biggest names. Cherry red was a favored color, while cut-out dresses, black gowns and intricate detailing were in abundance.
Connie Britton Got It Spot On With Her Subtle Yet Sparkly Number!
Connie Britton was one of the first stars onto the red-carpet, showing off her flashy strapless dress that complimented her slender figure. She was up for Best Actress in a Television Series (Drama) for her work in Nashville and beamed with delight after arriving in a chilly Los Angeles. Britton - who previously starred in Friday Night Lights - was a hit with the fashion bloggers for keeping things simple, and we here at Contactmusic.com think she got it spot on.
The same could be said of George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler, who wowed photographers with her sleek black Armani Privé creation. She teamed the dress with an elegant clutch bag and sparkly earrings. The former WWF wrestler is quickly becoming known for her stunning ensemble's while accompanying Mr Clooney to various industry events. No wonder The Descendants actor is always smiling these days.

Things really began to hot up once Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr arrived on the red-carpet with husband Orlando Bloom. The Australian model donned a stunning burgundy frock with a thigh high split. The gown - dare we say it - evoked memories of Angelina Jolie's Versace disaster at last year's Oscars, though the catwalk siren managed to pull it off with aplomb. She and hubby Bloom later attended the InStyle and Warner Bros after-parties and were very much the center of attention at both. Kerr kept her fans in the loop by Instagramming various photographs of herself throughout the night.

Next to make our best dressed list for 2013 was Salma Hayek, who wore a stunning glittery gown to present the award for Best Actor in a Television Series with Paul Rudd. It's a good job the actress was looking so good, given that her hosting went down like a lead balloon. The Savages star introduced the nominees by quipping, "They drink, they do drugs, they act like they have a huge ego, and they are not to be trusted," before Rudd added, "But uh, that's just their agents." The room fell silent, though things got worse as the camera came back to the pair. They looked confused, it was terribly awkward and the teleprompter failed to roll. Awkward.
Elsewhere, all the cameras were focused firmly on Jennifer Lawrence when the Silver Linings Playbook star arrived on the red-carpet in a stunning red Dior Haute Couture dress. It was a less than surprising designer choice given that Lawrence is the new face of Dior's handbags. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old - who picked up the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy - was arguably the evening's BEST dressed. When speaking to the Huffington Post about her choice of dress, Lawrence deadpanned, "I don't know what 'haute' means, but I have to say it."
Hey, remember when Megan Fox had a baby, like, a couple of months ago? Well, somehow she's slimmed back down to near enough her original size and looked stunning in a form fitting nude dress. The Transformers actress had her tattoos on show and posed with husband Brian Austin Green, 39. Fox gave birth to her son Noah on September 27, 2013, though showed no signs of any leftover baby weight at the Globes on Sunday. Though neither star was nominated, Fox presented a prize with actor Jonah Hill.

Lena Dunham was the surprise success of the evening, wearing an off-the-shoulder burgundy gown. It was one of the best red-carpet choices of the evening, though she admitted to E!'s Ryan Seacrest that she got a little help from her stylist, saying she had been instructed by her stylist to pull down the gown down and shift it to the left. "My breast has a tendency to shift to the left so I have to pull the gown to the right to fight it." It was a great night for the actress and writer, whose show Girls won Best Comedy. Dunham herself won Best Actress in a TV comedy, telling the audience, "I thought I'd be a cooler customer if this ever happened, and I didn't think it would. This award is for every woman who ever felt like there wasn't a place for her."
