Miley Cyrus was her usual, twerk-erific self when she took to the stage for the Jingle Ball at New York's Madison Square Garden, grinding against Santa and generally making anyone over 18 feel uncomfortable. After the show, she spent some time with the rapper French Montana before attending an after party, with the pair apparently getting pretty cosy, and maybe not just because it's cold outside.

Still 'Edgy'

As reported by MailOnline, the singer and the rapper were hanging out at an unspecified hotel lobby after the Madison Square Garden gig, with the pair laughing and talking with each other for at least ten minutes before departing for an after party. The pair were seen drinking from the same plastic cup throughout the exchange and ended up embracing one another on more than one occasion. MailOnline go on to say in their article that at one point Montana placed his arm around Miley's waist and drew her close, whilst she gently placed her hand on his chest.

Miley and Montana, real name Karim Kharbouch, have worked together in the past, having appeared together on a remix of his song 'Ain’t Worried About Nothin’.' They also appeared on will.i.am's single 'Feelin’ Myself' along with Wiz Khalifa and may have gotten close during this time.

The two split after about ten minutes of laughing and catching up, making their separate ways to an after party. Miley went off to the event with singer Sky Ferreira, who will be accompanying her on the Bangerz tour next year.

Miley and Montana's meeting came before she was grounded at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, making her miss her flight to Boston and appearance at the city's leg of the Jingle Ball tour. She tweeted at the airport, "As much as I've thoroughly enjoyed the Teterboro Airport I would Really love to be playing jingleball Boston. Mechanical issues + bad weather = stuck in Nyc (sic) and can't get to Boston for #Kiss108JingleBall..."
