"It's my mouth I can sing what I want to": Miley Cyrus bids farewell to Disney sweetheart Hannah Montana once and for all in the latest video for her new single 'We Can't Stop.'
Disney Princess turned agent provocateur Miley Cyrus signals her U-turn from teenage schoolgirl Hannah Montana with her latest track 'We Can't Stop.'
The video shows Cyrus 'livin it large' with her similarly entitled and responsibility-free friends. One minute they're splashing in the pool, next they're frolicking on a big bed, then Miley's air-grinding in her empty bathtub and grimacing with her golden 'grillz' on.
The video also showcases the phenomenon known as 'twerking' - nothing new if you've seen Beyoncé's video for 'Crazy In Love' - but a term used to describe the jiggling action made by one's bottom when hips are shaken and judging by her latest vid, Miles is a big fan
She's really driving the whole rebellion phase hard, trying to put as much distance between her and her former fictional popstar as possible. "Right now, when people go to iTunes and listen to my old music, it's so irritating to me because I can't just erase that stuff and start over", grumbled the popstrel, evidently forgetting it was her tween stint at Disney that got her where she is now.

Come to think of it, Cyrus isn't as much waving a cutesy little bye-bye to her former sugarpop self: she's practically tongue kissing her before kicking her to the ground and grind dancing over her broken purple microphone and pink sparkly body.
"Forget the haters 'cause somebody loves ya" drawls Miley in a heavily overproduced vocal style over continual Jabba The Hutt style warblings from a male voice and driving synth notes.
Your Grandma probably wouldn't approve but the song's pretty catchy. Miley just needs to calm down and show a bit of artistic integrity, rather than shoving 'hilarious' messages spelt out with alphabetti and shots of her spanking her girlfriends' bottoms down our throats.
Imminently gyrating her way on to your music channel screens, having such a physical inability to 'stop' must be exhausting, right?
