Miley Cyrus twerks with her mother every weekend.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, 21, and her mum Tish practice the provocative butt-shaking dance move as they make their breakfast together every Saturday.

Tish said: ''Every Saturday morning when we're making breakfast, we twerk in the kitchen. It is so much fun.''

Meanwhile, Tish, who married the singer's father Billy Ray Cyrus in 1993, insists she's not offended when people refer to her as 'Miley's mother' because she is extremely proud of her talented daughter.

Asked if she gets annoyed about the reference, she said: ''You know, I joke about it [changing] from being 'Billy Cyrus' wife' to 'Miley Cyrus' mom.' But no, not really. I am proud of her -- she is my child.''

The blonde beauty also believes Miley - who shot to fame after playing the title character in Disney's 'Hannah Montana' - is an easy target for the press because of her unusual behaviour and wild antics.

She explained to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: ''I think that anybody that is interesting and takes risks is always going to be a target. They talked about her cutting her hair off, and now everybody is cutting their hair and shaving half their heads.''
