The singer has spoken about her sexuality and relationship with Stella Maxwell.
Miley Cyrus has opened up about her sexuality and relationship status in a new interview with Britain’s Elle magazine. The 22 year old singer, who will host this year’s MTV VMA’s on Sunday, as described herself as ‘pansexual’ and added that she is not currently in a relationship.
"I'm 22, I'm going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with," she told the magazine "I'm very open about it; I'm pansexual. But I'm not in a relationship.”
Though they might not be exclusive, the 22 year old has been pictured spending a lot of time recently with Victoria's Secret Angel Stella Maxwell, whom she is said to have met through their mutual friend Cheyne Thomas.
"I don't relate to what people have made men and women into. I know I'm more extreme and badass than most guys, but that doesn't make me a boy," Cyrus added. "And the other night I wore a pink dress because I felt cute. I can bake a cupcake and then go play hockey.”
Speaking about her sexy image Cyrus said, "I've had really bad anxiety and depression in my life and a lot of that stemmed from the way I look. No more. Now I really try not to give a f--k. If you're funny enough and cool enough and confident, that's what will make you feel beautiful,” the singer added.
Cyrus has also been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ issues and has used her celebrity to launch charity The Happy Hippie Foundation. "If you get your t--s out, and they are all looking, then you can use that space to say something and get them to listen," Cyrus said on her approach to getting people to understand LGBTQ issues.

"I was kind of embarrassed that I got paid money to shake my ass in a teddy bear costume. I should not be worth the amount I am while people live on the streets,” she added. But don't expect Miley to be getting into politics anytime soon.
"I couldn't be [Barack Obama]. There are too many idiots in politics, and I have a short fuse," the singer said. "The trouble with politics is that it's all old men. I don't want a man to do anything for me because they're so disorganised. You need a woman in there taking care of s—t."
