The Whiplash star portrays scientist Reed Richards in the upcoming reboot, but Teller had to seek medical attention for simply using a toolbox rather than carrying out a dramatic superhero stunt.

He tells Britain's The Independent newspaper, "I got nine stitches in my fingers for something that was not even a stunt. I was searching for a tool that I needed to build something, and when I pulled my hand out of the prop box, I took a chunk out of my finger out and needed stitches."

The reboot is released in U.K. and U.S. cinemas this week (beg03Aug15).
