The trailer gives glimpses of these scenes, and shows of the movie's impressive CGI work. Spaceships, buildings and whole worlds are digitally constructed and embellished with the space-age costumes and stylings of the cast. The most obvious of these stylings is Channing Tatum's pointed, elfin ears, which we hope won't be as distracting in the full movie as they are in the trailer.

Jupiter Ascending mixes an awe-inspiring action movie in space with the very real human issue: one's destiny. Jupiter struggling to understand herself as her whole life as she knew it is rewritten before her eyes will strike a chord with those who enjoy their action movies a little more emotionally deep as well.
