Star Dan Aykroyd, who plays James Brown's manager Ben Bart in the film, describes his own experience of the hit Apollo show; a non-stop revue that brought him worldwide acclaim and recognition when it was recorded for his 1963 live album 'Live At The Apollo'. 'I remember it, when the show started, James came out and then you had four other dancing girls, then you had two timpani players and then there were probably 25 people on stage', Aykroyd recalls. 'It just never stopped. Then it went into 'Sex Machine'; it just ripped the roof off the place and tore everybody's hair out.'

Dame Judi Dench, Sir Bruce Forsythe, Professor Stephen Hawking and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger are among 200 celebrities and public figures who have joined the Let's Stay Together campaign to urge Scotland to vote "No" in the upcoming independence referendum - which will probably nothing to dissuade those already planning to vote yes.

Mick Jagger has starred in a promotional video for the upcoming Monty Python live shows, the first of which will be held tonight at London's O2 venue. The Rolling Stones rocker displays his witty sense of humour as well as his ability to laugh at himself by dismissing the Python troupe as "a bunch of wrinkly old men."

Jagger is shown sitting on his sofa with drummer Charlie Watts watching the World Cup before discussing Python's reunion. "Monty Python? Are they still going?" he asks in mock amazement. "Who wants to see that again? It was funny in the Sixties."

When an aide tells him that tickets for the first gig at London's O2 arena sold out in 40 seconds, Jagger replies "Wow. They must be coining it in. That's pretty amazing," adding "But they're still a bunch of wrinkly old men trying to relive their youth and make a load of money. I mean, the best one died years ago!"

L’wren Scott’s sister, who was estranged from the fashion designer before her death, has a few choice words for Mick Jagger. 53-year-old Jan Shane has been quite vocal since the Rolling Stone began to be photographed with a bevy of beautiful women less than three months after Scott's suicide. “The more I think about it, the angrier it makes me. My sister deserves more respect. I now believe that he was a bigger part of her troubles than we knew about,” Shane told the Daily Mirror.

Shane’s comments come after Jagger was photographed on a balcony with 27-year-old ballet dancer Melanie Hamrick. Hamrick appeared to be wearing one of Jagger’s t-shirts as she leaned over the 70-year-old rocker.

Eleven weeks after the death of his girlfriend L’Wren Scott, 70-year-old Mick Jagger has been photographed with Israeli model Noa Tishby. The picture of the pair was posted by stunning Tishby on her Instagram and Twitter accounts after a Rolling Stones gig in Tel Aviv. Tishby captioned the photo: “There’s no way to post a picture like this without feeling a little douchy.”

37-year-old Tishby is a former Israeli soap star, who landed a role on soap opera Ramat Aviv Gimmel after graduating from Tel Aviv’s National Museum of Arts. She released an album called “Nona” which was the first English-spoken album by an Israeli artist. After moving to the United States, Tishby starred in Michael Bay’s movie The Island alongside Hollywood big names Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johannson. She also landed leading roles in a couple of indie movies, Fatwa and Connecting Dots before appearing on television shows including NCIS, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Nip/Tuck and Star Trek: Enterprise. Her most recent movie appearance was in The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey (a film made in 2009, or pre-McConaissance, if you've not already guessed from the title).

Mick Jagger has been photographed with another beautiful woman and online media outlets are all over it. After The Rolling Stones played in Tel Aviv this week, Jagger apparently spent some time with Israeli model Noa Tishby. She later posted a shot of herself with the aging rocker to her Instagram account.

Coldplay spread the love to fellow rocker Mick Jagger Rolling Stones on Monday. During Coldplay’s show in New York City on Monday, May 5, Chris Martin seemed to give his condolences to The Rolling Stones frontman over the death of his partner L’Wren Scott. Scott, who committed suicide in March, had dated Jagger since 2001. From the stage, Martin simply said: “This is for Mick Jagger.”

The song, which includes lyrics like: "When tears come streaming down your face/ When you lose something you can't replace/ When you love someone and it goes to waste/ Could it be worse?" made for a pointed tribute to the tragedy.

L'Wren Scott's sister has claimed the funeral of the late fashion designer was "hijacked" by Mick Jagger and turned into a "media circus". The funeral, which took place on Monday (24th March), was attended by numerous celebrities but few of Scott's relatives.
