Michael Jackson's father Joe is baffled by a decision to dedicate a Cirque du Soleil show to his late son - insisting he will refuse to watch the production.
The late star's estate has signed a deal with the theatrical troupe to produce a stage spectacular featuring the Thriller hitmaker's songs.
It will tour the U.S. in 2011, followed by a residency in Las Vegas, and the star's mother Katherine has backed the venture, insisting the Jackson clan is supporting the plans.
She says in a statement, "Our family is thrilled that Cirque du Soleil will pay tribute to my son in such an important way."
But patriarch Joe is not happy with the idea, telling Popeater.com, "That's something else, isn't it? I won't see it."
