Metallica took to the stage with Ozzy Osbourne and former member Dave Mustaine on Saturday night (10Dec11) to conclude the band's 30th anniversary celebrations.
The rockers have been celebrating 30 years since the group's formation in 1981 and they ended a week of shows with a final concert in San Francisco, California on Saturday.
The gig at the Fillmore venue saw a long list of star guests take to the stage, including Black Sabbath stars Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler, as well as Megadeth frontman Mustaine, who left Metallica in 1983.
Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin also performed with Metallica star Robert Trujillo as part of a tribute to the band's late bassist Cliff Burton, according to Blabbermouth.net.
