The former Sporty Spice previously criticised the girlband for being too sexy.
Mel C has come under fire on Instagram after posting a topless photo from behind the scenes of a recent photoshoot.
The ex-Spice Girl was branded a hypocrite by fans of Little Mix, who she recently criticised for being ‘too sexy’.
Mel shared the pic with the caption ‘Cheeky little cover shoot tomorrow. Better get my work pants ready! #behindthescenes #versionofme #putsomeclothesonwoman.’
But fans were quick to see a double standard and reminded her of the comments she’d made about the girlband.
One user commented: “Pretty sure you were quick to criticize little mix on their 'provocative' outfits and sexualisation and here you are with nothing but your pants on?? Pot kettle black springs to mind.”
Another added: “Hypocrisy at its finest. People thought that the Spice Girls were also overly sexual at one time and now she posts a pic of herself basically naked. Maybe she needs the publicity.”
Speaking to The Sunday People in October, Mel said that she thought Little Mix’s image had become too sexualised and they were now unsuitable for her seven-year-old daughter Scarlett.
“I love Little Mix. I loved them from The X Factor. I just thought they were so different,” she said. “But they are getting more provocative. To me, they were kind of the closest thing to the Spice Girls we’ve seen.
“They are all gorgeous and great singers. But they weren’t sexy and it’s got more and more that way. I love them – but I just say, ‘Stay you’.”
Speaking about Scarlett she continued: “She is a massive Little Mix fan but I’ve started to be more sparing in what I show her. I don’t let her watch videos by artists that aren’t appropriate for her. That makes me a bit sad.
“All young women want to look sexy and hot so I understand it’s hard. But I think it’s such a shame. We live in a narcissistic age – it’s 100 per cent worse than when I was in the Spice Girls. It was a more innocent time, although we were criticised for wearing crop tops.”
