'Megyn Kelly Today' was not on the air on Thursday morning, amid rumours her show might get cancelled.
Megyn Kelly’s future at NBC is up in the air as the presenter was absent from her show this morning, with the network confirming that she’ll be taking the rest of the week off amid rumours of cancellation following her controversial defence of blackface.
“Given the circumstances, ‘Megyn Kelly Today’ will be on tape the rest of the week,” an NBC spokesperson told the Huffington Post on Thursday (October 25th), after a re-run of the show had aired that morning.
Kelly, a former Fox News host and who joined NBC in January 2017 on a three-year contract to run the 9am morning show, faced an immediate backlash on two days ago after she asked what was racist about white people darkening their skin (and vice versa) for the purposes of Halloween costumes.

DeGeneres invited Megyn Kelly onto her show this week, and they discussed Donald Trump.
Ellen Degeneres has admitted that she would never Donald Trump to be a guest on her daytime talk show – because she believes that the controversial president represents a threat to the country, and to her personally.
The 59 year old chat show host Ellen had NBC’s Megyn Kelly – who was infamously a target of Trump’s presidential campaign last year – on her show on Wednesday (September 20th). She asked Kelly whether she would ever consider having Trump as a guest on her new morning show, ‘Megyn Kelly Today’, which launches next Monday.
“Definitely,” Kelly responded. “I mean, I would not say no to the sitting president of the United States.”

Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday to air his grievances at the network.
In his latest social media outburst, Donald Trump has indicated that he will no longer be appearing on any Fox programs because he feels that their negative coverage of his presidential nomination campaign has been unfair.
“Fox News has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won’t be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future,” the Republican front-runner tweeted on Wednesday (September 23rd).
The ill feeling between Trump and the Fox network began with his comments about Fox’s political commentator Megyn Kelly that he made after the first Republican primary debate. Trump was unhappy at Kelly’s line of questioning about comments he had made about women in the past, and in a later interview with CNN, he said she had “blood coming out of her eyes… blood coming out of her wherever.”

Donald Trump claimed Heidi Klum is “no longer a 10”, here’s how the supermodel responded…
Heidi Klum isn’t taking any of Donald Trump’s nonsense and she’s become the latest in a line of women to stand up to the misogynistic Republican candidate. In a recent interview, Trump was attempting to backtrack on his recent comments about women but he failed, quite miserably, when he started rating the supermodel on her looks. He claimed “she’s no longer a 10.”

Megyn Kelly's show will not be a partisan.
Megyn Kelly claims her new Fox News show The Kelly File will not echo the outspoken format of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity's programmes.
Kelly is a quick-witted presenter, though despite being given a huge platform, the 31-year-old doesn't intend to become a partisan broadcaster.
"If you watch O'Reilly, you hear a lot about what Bill O'Reilly thinks" she told the Associated Press, "Sean Hannity, same thing. But you're not going to hear what I think."

Megyn Kelly heads up a new Fox News prime-time schedule.
Megyn Kelly has landed a dream move from daytime television to Fox News' prime-time line-up, replacing Sean Hannity in the 9pm slot - after The O'Reilly Factor. Hannity himself is moving to 10pm.
"Hannity is the leading conservative voice in America," said executive vice-president of programming Bill Shine. "He has been a major star on both radio and television for more than a decade and we were happy to accommodate his schedule and retain him as a vital part of our lineup."
However, the focus is now on Kelly, who anchored the two-hour news program America Live-up, until her recent maternity leave. Kelly's new show - The Kelly File - also sees a move for Greta Van Susteren,

Bill O'Reilly has hinted he may be about to come out in favor of gay marriage.
Billy O'Reilly, gay marriage: two things that don't exactly go hand-in-hand. However, the Fox News and conservative pundit made waves last night for slamming the arguments AGAINST gay marriage. "I didn't hear anything articulated that was particularly persuasive," anchor Megyn Kelly said on Tuesday's O'Reilly show. "I agree with you 100 per cent," replied the host.
"The compelling argument is on the side of homosexuals," O'Reilly - who was always assumed to be against gay marriage - explained, "That's where the compelling argument is. 'We're Americans. We just want to be treated like everybody else.' That's a compelling argument, and to deny that, you have got to have a very strong argument on the other side. The argument on the other side hasn't been able to do anything but thump the Bible."
O'Reilly also noted "...next week I've got something that Kelly's really not going to like," which led many viewers to assume O'Reilly would be coming out in favour of gay marriage. "The gay marriage thing, I don't feel that strongly about it one way or another. I think the states should do it... New York has it, I'm fine with it. I want all Americans to be happy, I do," he said.

Megyn Kelly is pregnant with her third child! The news anchor announced the news on Thursday morning (February 14, 2013) in a Valentine's Day-themed segment on Fox News' America Live. "Every Valentine's Day we always struggle to find just the right gift and yet, this year I believe that we found the perfect solution," Kelly said while on air. "Happily, Doug and I are expecting another baby."
The Doug that Megyn referred to is her businessman husband Douglas Brunt. It's been a busy time lately for the family, who welcomed son Edward Yates Brunt born in September 2009 and daughter Yardley Evans Brunt in April 2011. Their latest baby news was celebrated in the America Live studio, with Megyn's close friend Janice Dean - a Fox News Channel meteorologist - showing a couple of congratulatory Valentine graphics on-screen, while other crew members showered the anchor with balloons and flowers. "I've got to thank the crew out here, too," Kelly said. "Because I come out and said, 'You know guys, I'm pregnant,' and they go, 'We know. They know everything. They're like my brothers out here." The baby is due sometime this summer.
Megyn Kelly previously co-hosted America's Newsroom, alongside Bill Hemmer.
