50 Cent And Bette Midler? Our Favorite Celebrity BFFs

Matt Damon Ben Affleck Bette Midler 50 Cent Rihanna Katy Perry Jennifer Aniston Courteney Cox Dakota Fanning Kristen Stewart Kim Kardashian Kelly Osbourne

Unlike Jennifer Lawrence and her rather normal best friend, Laura Simpson, celebs often pick other famous people to have as their BFFs. They all probably bump into each other at so many events that it’s difficult not to end up practically joined at the hip. Some of these celebrity BFFs you’ll already know about, some you’ll be totally surprised to hear have even met!  The phrase chalk and cheese comes to mind.

Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston have been BFFs since their Monica and Rachel days. The pair have seen each other through weddings and divorces, children and various film/TV projects. “We just have fun, we laugh, we’re inseparable and it’s great”, Cox said of Aniston, while her best friend in turn dubbed her “the most dependable and loyal”. Mutual appreciation society, or what?  We love it!  That's how all best friends should talk about each other in our opinion.

Emma Watson And Other Celebrities Who Don't Date Famous People

Emma Watson Elizabeth Banks Matt Damon Julia Roberts Reese Witherspoon

Not all celebrities are part of a high profile power couple like Beyonce and Jay-Z, or Brad and Angelina. Some celebrities opt for a hint of normalcy in their personal lives and shack up with regular folk. Emma Watson has revealed that she won’t date other famous people. “I don’t date people who are famous”, the Noah actress explained. Watson is currently in a relationship with Oxford University student Matt Janney, although she did add that a dating non-famous can be tough too, “I don’t think it’s fair that, all of a sudden, intimate details of their personal life are public as a direct result of me.”

Bradley Cooper Is Out! Could One Of These Actors Replace Harrison Ford As Indiana Jones?

Harrison Ford Joseph Gordon-Levitt Josh Brolin Clive Owen Matt Damon

Chill out internet, Bradley Cooper will not be playing Indiana Jones in a reboot of the movies, we repeat, he will not be playing Indiana Jones! Rumours that the Silver Linings Playbook actor would replace Harrison Ford for a fifth Indiana Jones film have been staunchly denied by all involved. Although we have to admit, we reckon Bradley would make a pretty great Indy. At least think about it, Disney?

It’s nowhere near certain that a new Indiana Jones film is in the works, but if there is, and they are looking to replace veteran star Ford, then we suggest one of these actors instead.

The Zero Theorem Review

Good

Lively and imaginative, this raucous adventure-drama recaptures the ramshackle futurism of director Terry Gilliam's 1985 masterpiece Brazil, throwing a lonely guy into a series of events that get increasingly surreal. And while we never lose interest, the plot seems to fall apart about halfway in, circling around itself and the pungent themes that ooze through every scene.

The central figure is Qohen (Waltz), a genius who feels like life has lost its meaning. He hates the corporate mentality at Mancom, where both his manager (Thewlis) and the computer system drive him nuts. Then after a chance encounter with the big boss (Damon), he's given a new assignment to work at home crunching numbers to prove the Zero Theorem. Everyone is vague about what this theorem is, but Qohen likes being away from the office. But now he's distracted by the seductive Bainsley (Thierry), who puts on a sexy nurse outfit and lures him into a virtual reality environment. He's also assigned 15-year-old computer nerd Bob (Hedges) to keep his system up and running. Or maybe everyone is spying on him.

The central theme is the search for meaning in life, which is echoed in Qohen's inability to feel, taste or properly experience anything. And the theorem itself turns out to be an attempt to prove conclusively that everything is meaningless. This allows Gilliam to deploy his vast imagination in every scene, with a flood of corporate and religious imagery, suggestive innuendo and topical gags about free will in a society that values making money at the expense of actually living. All of the actors grab on to these ideas, adding comical physicality and knowing humour to each scene.

The Zero Theorem - Trailer And Feaurette

In a flamboyant, futuristic universe, Qohen Leth works as a computer hacker desperate to uncover the meaning of life. He appears to suffer from a range of conflicting phobias and his eccentricity forces him to stand out to the formidable Management who enlist him to try and crack the most fundamental formula of mankind history, the Zero Theorem. Meanwhile, he is waiting desperately for an important phone call that will reveal to him the purpose of human existence. But as he absorbs himself deeply with his own work at the dilapidated chapel he calls home, he finds himself repeatedly distracted by Management's teenager son Bob and a stunning blonde seductress named Bainsley who was specifically hired by the dictatorial authority. Qohen's sanity is frequently tested as it becomes more and more clear that the Zero Theorem is trying to tell him that all is for nothing.

'The Zero Theorem' is a vibrant sci-fi drama set in an almost Orwellian dystopian future. It has been directed by the Oscar nominated Terry Gilliam ('Twelve Monkeys', 'Brazil', 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail') and written by Pat Rushin ('No Ordinary Sun' short) in his full-length screenplay debut. It has already caused a stir having won the Future Film Festival Digital Award at the Venice Film Festival and it is set to be released in the UK on March 14th 2014.

"The Monuments Men" Screens For President Obama At The White House's Family Theater

George Clooney Matt Damon Barack Obama

The Monuments Men – the Matt Damon and George Clooney-starring flick about a World War II platoon charged with protecting important works of art – was screened at a private White House event on Tuesday night. The movie follows the band of soldiers, as they are ordered by president Roosevelt to go into Germany to rescue masterpieces stolen by Nazis.

The Monuments Men Still
The movie stars a brilliant cast, which includes Clooney, Damon, John Goodman and Bill Murray, among others.

The movie was written and produced by Clooney, a generous donor to Obama's political campaigns, and Grant Heslov. While Clooney is a longtime supporter of Obama and hosted a fundraiser for his reelection at his Studio City home in May 2012. Damon on the other hand, has expressed his disillusionment with the president and his policies before. Most recently, Damon told BET last year that Obama "broke up with him," and he expressed concerns about U.S. drone operations under Obama and revelations by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden about the agency's spying programs. To that valid criticism, Obama responded with some of his own: "Matt Damon said he was disappointed in my performance. Well, Matt, I just saw The Adjustment Bureau, so right back atcha, buddy!"

After their starry New York premiere last week, Clooney and his gang of costars - including Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman and Jean Dujardin - have been dashing around Europe this week. Here's video footage from The Monuments Men Premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York including the arrival of Director and Star George Clooney as well as appearences from other A-List cast members like Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon and Bill Murray. Incase you missed Shia LabBeouf's Paper bag stunt take a look here.

Another Berlin premiere debuted its first trailer this week, giving us a look at the biopic Yves Saint Laurent. Pierre Niney (Romantics Anonymous) plays the eponymous designer in the film, which traces his rise to fame and romantic liaisons with both men and women in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Unsurprisingly, the film looks stylish and achingly cool. It opens next month in Britain. Watch 'Yves Saint Laurent' trailer here.

The Monuments Men Review

Good

For an amazing true story performed by such a strong A-list cast, this is an oddly uninvolving film. Fragmented and uneven, it shifts from comedy to drama to romance to adventure, never letting us get the feel of any sequence. In other words, the episodic structure would have been much more suitable to a longer-format TV series. Even so, this is a fascinating chapter of history that we haven't heard nearly enough about. And the actors are good enough to keep us entertained.

It takes place as the tide begins to turn during World War II, and art historian Frank (Clooney) recruits a team of experts to protect Europe's most important paintings, sculptures and monuments from both Allied bombing and Nazi plundering. He recruits a handful of Americans (Damon, Murray, Goodman and Balaban) to work with a Brit (Bonneville) and a Frenchman (Dujardin), and as they spread out around the continent, they discover that the real problem is that Hitler is stealing art on a massive scale and hiding it somewhere. Working with a resistance-minded French museum curator (Blanchett), they are able to find where some 5 million stolen pieces are stashed.

The central theme is whether art is worth risking your life to save. And if Clooney and Heslov had allowed this idea to seep through the pores of the script, it might have carried a real wallop. But they announce it over and over again, never giving us a chance to think about it ourselves. Everything about the movie is just as unsubtle, with each sequence played for laughs, thrills, drama or romance, as required. Which means that nothing emerges as organic for these simplistically defined characters, who are a composite of some 350 Monuments Men and Women who did a job no one thought was possible. Even so, it's fun to watch these actors play with the material, stirring in snappy details here and there and of course playing on their strong chemistry.

Johnny Depp Set To Play Notorious Gangster Whitey Bulgar In 'Black Mass'

Depp’s involvement in the project had seemed ropey, with the recently maligned actor seemingly stepping down from the project after being on board. Now, with Scott Cooper – director of Crazy Heart – on board, Depp seems to be back and committed to the role. The idea was floated this time last year, when Barry Levinson was supposed to be directing.

'The Monuments Men' Is FINALLY Here. But Is It Any Good?

George Clooney Matt Damon Bill Murray Cate Blanchett

Based on the book by Robert M. Edsel,The Monuments Men centres on an Allied group named the 'Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives Program', tasked with saving pieces of art and other culturally important items before their destruction by Hitler during World War II. Directed by George Clooney, it marks the actor's fifth directorial endeavour. Aside from Clooney, Mouments Men boasts an impressive cast including Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett.

Critics have so far been divided on this unusual wartime drama. Kam Williams writing for Baret Newswire called it “a history lesson about an obscure chapter of World War II successfully turned into entertaining Hollywood fare.” Whilst Variety’s Scott Foundas enjoyed the subject he felt Clooney’s adaptation did not do it justice, saying “Clooney has transformed a fascinating true-life tale into an exceedingly dull and dreary caper pic cum art-appreciation seminar - a museum-piece movie about museum people.”

Indeed the exact subject matter of The Monuments Men means it just doesn't have the amount of action you’d expect from a wartime drama, “Escapism junkies may feel betrayed,” wrote Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers before adding “Clooney has crafted a movie abort about aspiration, about culture at risk, about things worth fighting for. However Todd McCarthy writing for the Hollywood Reporter said,  “Too much of the time, The Monuments Men falls into a compromised middle zone, not urgent and only mildly amusing.”

Forbes, who did the maths and put everything into a handy list for everyone to peruse, bestowed the unwanted gong upon Hollywood's so called funnyman. They plan to destroy certain parts of mankind's history bit by bit and, though it seems like a suicidal mission in itself, it is absolutely essential that the US doesn't let that happen. Bill Murray certainly turned some heads on the 20th birthday episode of The Late Show with David Letterman when he arrived in style as Liberace. Well and truly pimped out in the same kind of extravagant gear Liberice was famous for. He then sat down with a little dog: nothing more than an accessory to his outlandish garms.

Letterman said: “Wow that was wonderful Bill. Delightful. I am delightful. I didn't know you had a dog.” Bill said: “I had to get something that went with this outfit.” The audience, of course, were loving all this. Bill told them: “You know I love you audience. I love you, but I dont have time tonight. ‘Cos Im only here for one reason,” before pointing at Letterman. (Daily Mail)

Murray was the first guest on Letterman's first show on CBS in August 1993 and also the first guest on Letterman's first late-night show on NBC in 1982. The pair have appeared together on the show some 25 times. He always has something prepared for any of the myriad Letterman shows he’s appeared on.

Bryan Cranston could be about to break even badder, by donning the bald look once more for what would be his most sinister role to date; as Superman's arch nemesis Lex Luthor in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel. The star of AMC's soon-to-end hit series Breaking Bad is apparently in advanced talks with Warner Bros. to take on one of comic book-land's most iconic villainous roles in the eagerly anticipated Superman sequel.

Cranston may be about to break evil with his latest role

Cosmic Book News first announced that Cranston had already been cast alongside Henry Cavill and the controversial Batman choice, Ben Affleck, in the upcoming film, with the site adding that Cranston has signed a multi-movie deal that will see him star in cameo-like appearances as the super-villain, describing his role as being like that of Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury in the Marvel movies. The site also alleges that Warner Bros. are only holding out on the announcement because they want to wait for the end of Breaking Bad before they confirm anything.

Elysium Review

Excellent

As he did with District 9, South African filmmaker Blomkamp grounds this sci-fi thriller in present-day society, telling a story that resonates with a strong political kick. He also again uses effects in a off-handed way that never steals focus from the actors. On the other hand,he fails to build much of an emotional impact, even though the script continually tries to ramp up the personal drama. But the actors are all very watchable, and the film's urgent vibe keeps us gripped.

It's set in 2154 Los Angeles, a sprawling shantytown where people struggle to survive without adequate resources or health care. In orbit above the earth, Elysium is an idyllic refuge for the very wealthy. Protected by the fierce Secretary Rhodes (Foster), Elysium's only threat is illegal immigration from the surface. And that's what factory worker Max (Damon) wants to attempt after severe radiation poisoning. Even having a nurse (Braga) for a friend doesn't help him get proper care: he needs the high tech medicine on Elysium to survive. He turns to black-marketeer Spider (Moura) for help, and Spider fits Max with a devise that gives him physical strength plus technology to steal vital information from an Elysium contractor (Fichtner). So Rhodes unleashes sleeper agent Kruger (Copley) to stop Max.

Yes, the plot is somewhat convoluted, but the chaos makes it feel much more realistic than the more simplistic thrillers we usually see. It also helps that the digital effects feel so seamlessly integrated into the shaky-cam mayhem of the favelas, while even the more grandly photographed Elysium leaves the effects in the background. This allows Blomkamp to keep the focus on the characters, even if the splintering plot never draws us in emotionally. Braga's plotline is clearly designed to tug at the heart-strings, but her tentative romance with Max never goes anywhere. Max's friendship with Julio (Luna) is much more interesting.

George Clooney Matt Damon John Goodman Jean Dujardin Bill Murray

George Clooney's latest assault on the Hollywood awards' season, The Monuments Men, remains the favorite to win Best Picture at the Oscars in February 2014 following the release of the first trailer this week.

Directed and co-written by the popular actor, the movie is based on the incredible and at times unbelievable story of a special unit formed in World War II to save rare antiques, art and architecture from destruction.

Clooney also plays the lead role, a man tasked with pulling together a team of curators and historians - played by Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray, Jean Dujardin and Bob Balaban - and attempting to mould them into a fighting force.

StePhest Colbchella Kicks Off With Stephen Colbert Skating Into Our Hearts To The Sound Of 'Get Lucky'

Stephen Colbert Daft Punk Hugh Laurie Jeff Bridges Matt Damon Jimmy Kimmel Jon Stewart Bryan Cranston

Stephen Colbert’s political satire might be top notch, but his dance skills are not to be overestimated. Last night, the Colbert Report host strapped on a pair of roller skates and boogied down to the sound of 'Get Lucky' – the Daft Punk/Pharrell Williams hit that’s become the inescapable soundtrack to this summer. The, um, energetic performance served as the kickoff for Colbert’s summer series of concerts or “StePhest Colbchella ‘013” – it’s what the cool kids call it.

Stephen Colbert, Tribeca Film Fest
Who knew Colbert posessed such hidden talents?

But, of course, the host dancing all by himself would have been a bit sad, so instead he brought in some friends – Hugh Laurie, Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and even Colbert’s former colleague, Jon Stewart – still on leave from The Daily Show – joined in with some tight moves. Colbert’s moves turned out to be too much for the Colbert Report studio, so the shenanigans infiltrated the America’s Got Talent stage and even an interview with Bryan Cranston and the rest of the Breaking Bad cast – at which point Cranston simply joined in for an amazing 70s themed dance routine. We couldn’t do it justice. Just watch the video:

Alfonso Cuaron's Terrifying 'Gravity' To Open 70th Venice Film Festival [Trailer]

Alfonso Cuaron Sandra Bullock George Clooney Terry Gilliam Matt Damon Christoph Waltz

Alfonso Cuaron's techno-thriller Gravity - starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock as astronauts stuck in space - will open the 70th Venice Film Festival this year. The movie, which could be either absolutely fantastic, groundbreaking cinema or dull sci-fi, will not vie for the coveted Golden Lion award and will screen out of competition.

Bullock plays Dr Ryan Stone, an engineer on her first shuttle mission, while Clooney plays the veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky. During a routine spacewalk, their shuttle is completely destroyed and radio contact to Earth is lost.

Both Cuaron and Bullock were on-hand to present new footage of Gravity at Comic-Con San Diego this week and spoke about the making of the movie.

Travis was admitted to a Texas hospital earlier this week. According to NY Daily News, the singer was well until he contracted a viral upper respiratory infection three weeks ago. His condition escalated and caused, what TMZ believe to be, presumptive cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. Travis' doctors believe the infection weakened the heart muscles which led to his heart failure.

Matt Damon: "I Fell In Love With A Civilian"

Matt Damon Brad Pitt Luciana Barroso Angelina Jolie

Matt Damon, perhaps best known for his role as amnesiac spy Jason Bourne in the Bourne trilogy of films, has come across as rather astute and intelligent in a new interview where he shows how much more important family are to him, rather than fame. Esquire magazine managed to get under the skin of Hollywood heartthrob Damon for long enough to hear the A-list actor and hunky philanthropist speak candidly about his views on life as a celebrity.

Matt Damon
Matt Damon: Keeping It Real In The Limelight.

For all a celebrity's Hollywood fame, glamour and popularity the one thing they might crave most is a little time alone with their family away from the flashbulbs and Dictaphones, as Damon demonstrates when he compares himself to Brad PittThere is a twinge of poignancy to Damon's words as he tells of fellow actor Brad Pitt's anguish that he cannot so much as drop his children of at the school gates without being pestered by the paparazzi: "I remember telling [Brad] that I walk my kids to school, and his face just fell," with Damon adding darkly "I see the intensity of...the paparazzi and the insane level of aggression they have and their willingness to break the law and invade his space - well, I wonder about that trade," as reported by Yahoo!omg!  However, the biggest difference between the two actors is that Pitt married Angelina Jolie, an actress, who is very much permanently in the public eye with their highly documented child adoption and Jolie's breast cancer scare. Damon, on the other hand, says that with regards to himself "there's not really any story to tell," saying "they're always going to get the same story - middle-aged married guy with four kids. So as long as that narrative doesn't change too much, there's no appetite for it."

Ben Affleck Is Guy’S Choice Awards’ ‘Guy Of The Year’

Ben Affleck Clint Eastwood Brad Pitt George Clooney Mickey Rourke Matt Damon Jennifer Aniston Jessica Alba Snoop Dogg Vince Vaughn Jimmy Kimmel Henry Cavill Burt Reynolds Jeff Bridges Jake Gyllenhaal Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck was awarded with the Spike’s Tv ‘Guy of the Year Award’ on Saturday (aired last night). The ceremony took place in Culver City, California. Affleck was presented his antler shaped (nicknamed ‘mantler’) award by fellow Oscar winning actor and director, Clint Eastwood. This is one of many awards; Affleck has received this year including an Oscar for his film Argo.

The Awards were first held in 2007 and previous winners have included Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Mickey Rourke, Maek Wahlberg and Matt Damon. As you’d expect, the awards are hardly female friendly (there is an award named the ‘holy grail of hot’) yet many turned out for the event including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Alba.

The awards are hardly on par with the Oscars or a Golden Globes – there was a category in 2012 for ‘Hottest Zo(o)e(y)’. The nominations for this particular award were somewhat limited. However, the award’s lack of prestige did not prevent Affleck celebrating backstage with Snoop Dogg, Vince Vaughn and Jimmy Kimmel.

Video - 'Behind The Candelabra' Screenwriter Richard Lagravenese Discusses Film In New Featurette

'Behind The Candelabra' screenwriter Richard Lagravenese talks about the new movie biopic about Liberace and his secret love affair with his driver in a new featurette. He praises Michael Douglas' and Matt Damon's performances and director Steven Soderbergh's vision.

Behind The Candelabra - Clips

An extraordinary tale of friendship and romance is set to hit our screens as the secret affair between world-class entertainer Liberace and his faithful young assistant Scott Thorson is brought to film. When Scott met the flamboyant pianist almost 40 years his senior, he was spellbound by the grandeur and luxury amidst which he lived. Equally, Liberace was charmed by the youth and beauty he saw in Scott and embraced him as a companion, a brother, a son and, later, his lover. However, the romance was not without its turmoil, with the couple regularly engaging in blazing rows mostly due to drugs and alcohol on Scott's part, the secrecy of their relationship and Liberace's shocking insistence that Scott undergo facial surgery to resemble a younger version of himself. Over their five year relationship, this unlikely pair went through every emotion possible while Liberace vehemently denied any passion between himself and his driver.

Behind The Candelabra Review

Extraordinary

This biopic about the pianist-showman Liberace may look almost painfully camp, and sometimes it is, but it's also a remarkably honest depiction of an intimate relationship. In the hands of Steven Soderbergh, the flaming excess is never made the butt of the joke; instead we get a strong dose of gritty humour, dark emotion and even a revealing look into the smoke and mirrors of show business. And the astute performances from both Douglas and Damon continually catch us off guard with their resonance.

It was 1977 when the 57-year-old entertainer (Douglas) met 17-year-old Scott Thorson (Damon). There was an instant spark as Liberace, known to his friends as Lee, offered Scott a job as a companion: on the stage, in his bed and running his household. But their relationship wasn't easy. Lee coaxed Scott into joining him under the knife of a plastic surgeon (Lowe) who reshaped Scott's face to look like a younger Liberace. Afterwards, Scott became addicted to a variety of drugs, which strained their romance to the breaking point. And it didn't help that Lee had an eye for ever-younger boys, all while insisting to the world that he was straight. "People see what they want to see," he said.

While the production design overflows with Liberace's "palatial kitsch" design sensibility, Soderbergh keeps the story and characters grounded, finding humour in unexpected places (Lowe's over-lifted face is hilarious). And despite the outrageous costumes and hair, the actors never camp up their performances, which cleverly holds the story in a delicate balance between sharp comedy and involving drama. In this sense, LaGravenese's script is particularly clever, peppering the dialog with telling details that gives us a remarkably well-rounded picture of the interaction between these men. And it continually resists becoming another stereotypical gay romance, celebrity biopic or drugs odyssey.

Hollywood Meets Sussex: Clooney And Co Shoot 'The Monuments Men' [Pictures]

George Clooney Matt Damon Hugh Bonneville Bill Murray Cate Blanchett Jean Dujardin John Goodman

A host of Hollywood stars, including Clooney, Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray and Hugh Bonneville have landed in southern English locations while filming World War II movie The Monuments Men in Rye, Sussex, and Duxford's Imperial War Museum in Cambridgeshire.

Adapted from the 2010 true story novel, Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves And The Greatest Treasure Hunt In History, by Robert M. Edsel, the film will be centred upon a group of historians and art curators - members of the 'Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives' program - a taskforce who work together to recover priceless artwork stolen by Nazis and other important cultural items, before they are destroyed by Hitler or bombed in the six-year-long conflict.

The film, which is produced and directed by Clooney, will also co-star Cate Blanchett and The Artist's Jean Dujardin, and will use the former airfield in Duxford for plane scenes and American war-base footage, and the coastal Rye location for shotting of a nautical nature.

Fall Of The Prince: Sony Lose Millions On Will Smith's 'After Earth'

Will Smith Jada Pinkett-Smith Tom Cruise Matt Damon

Is Will Smith losing his edge as Hollywood's most bankable box-office star? We've seen chinks in Tom Cruise's commercial armour in recent years, though Smith appears to be in free-fall - and he doesn't have the Mission Impossible franchise to fall back on.

His latest movie - M. Night Shymalan's After Earth - is a weak, weak effort that left audiences with little patience left for the Indian-American director and doubts over Smith's eye for a decent family flick. It's no secret that the movie star pulled out all the stops to get the sci-fi movie made, enlisting his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith as a producer and casting himself and son Jaden Smith as the lead stars.

The film failed to top the box-office, pulling in $27.5 million after a 12 per cent score on reviews aggregating website Rotten Tomatoes. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie could now lose tens of millions should it not score big overseas. Commentators agree that the hapless Shymalan will take the biggest hit from the box-office disaster and it's possible that the major studios will no longer trust the The Last Airbender director with big-budgets, however, After Earth also proves that Will Smith's supposed bulletproof image is not so solid and that the four years between Seven Pounds and Men In Black 3 did little to maintain his position as the world's most bankable star. "One thing you've got to do as an actor is portfolio management," said an industry source, "Will went through a place where he didn't do a lot of movies, and none has been great..He could still be highly successful, but it was automatic before. Now audiences will look more carefully."
