Mariah Carey look dazzling as always as she opened her highly anticipated forthcoming eighteen date residency in Las Vegas with a thank you to all her supportive fans, who had flocked to Caesar's Palace in their hundreds to celebrate the singer's arrival.

Releasing her brand new single 'Infinity' yesterday (April 27th 2015), Carey took the opportunity to psyche up the Las Vegas fans with a little reminder that she will be hitting Caesars Palace Resort and Casino in just one week for a nine day series of shows, before retuning again in July for a further nine performances.

'So, it's out today, 'Infinity'!' She told the crowd, wearing a very daring, embellished nude dress which clung to her famous curves. 'I just want to say, I wouldn't be anywhere without my fans and I will never ever ever EVER forget that. Everybody in Las Vegas, there's a new girl in town, you'll be seeing me walking around and spending my time with you when I can!'

Carey will be unveiling her latest Greatest Hits compilation entitled '#1 to Infinity' later this Spring, a year since she launched her final Def Jam record 'Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse'. The new collection is a follow-up to her first ever hits release, 1998's Platinum certified '#1's' and features a handful of incredible covers.

While she may have been struggling with her personal life over the past year, her professional life has never been better as she prepares to make more millions off the back of this Las Vegas bonanza. Tickets for the shows have been priced from $55 to $250.

'#1 to Infinity' is released on May 18th 2015. Mariah Carey's residency begins on May 6th.
