The controversy-seeking singer has been signed up for the latest campaign from the fashion house, but her appointment has annoyed some longtime employees of the chain
Designer Marc Jacobs has told of how his long-time photographer Juergen Teller flat out refused to take part in Miley Cyrus' new campaign for the high end fashion chain. A long-time photographer of numerous fashion shoots for Jacobs, Teller apparently wanted absolutely nothing to do with Cyrus or the new campaign and stepped down from the projet before it had begun.
Miley and Marc had been planning the collaboration for some time
"Secret's out, @MileyCyrus star in the MJ SS14 Campaign shot by David Sims!" a tweet from the fashion chain read on Wednesday, 8 January, in the company's fist announcement of the collaboration. Since then Jacobs has spoken with Women's Wear Daily to discuss the new spring look and to also mention Teller's refusal to work alongside the 'Wrecking Ball' singer.

It truly was what it said on the tin at the Fashion Group International's 30th Annual Night Of Stars held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, as the likes of pop sensation Miley Cyrus and soul legend Aretha Franklin made appearances at the gala. Miley looked almost unrecognisable in a floor length sparkly gown with only her arms and back on show - as opposed to her preferred see through variety.

Vera Wang Balanced Floaty Fabrics With Heavy Footwear.
Vera Wang's SS 2014 collection employed delicate, floaty, often assymetrical dresses paired with clumpy tan or black wedge heels. There were clear sporty overtones as modified windbreakers and black baseball jackets made more feminine with tailoring and mesh kicked off the show. Color was then introduced in the form of the jewel tones of blue, and red, as well as the softer greys and yellows that contrasted with the models' identical black band head pieces as architecture and athletics met in stunning unision.
Singer Miley Cyrus appears to have misplaced her clothes on the front of Marc Jacobs' latest charity T -shirt.
"Hi, yeah it's Miley...Look could you bring me some clothes - I seem to have accidentally inhaled mine and there's this creepy dude standing around with a camera." Well maybe Miley Cyrus didn't actually say this but it's pretty much what the 20 year-old former Hannah Montana's facial expression is implying on the front of designer Marc Jacobs T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan "Protect The Skin You're In" which is positioned strategically over a starkers Cyrus.
Cyrus: Raising Bare Monies.
It's not a massive cloth-shed for the usually scantily clad performer but there's a special cause at the heart of the shirt campaign. One of the striking black and white T-shirts will cost you $35 but proceeds will go to support the NYU Cancer Institute and NYU Langone Medical Center: centres for medical education in New York, as reported by The Daily Mail. The shirts were launched across nine Marc Jacobs boutiques in America on Friday (26th July) morning, with a planned expansion to Europe next month.
