Singer and actress Mandy Moore has big plans for the New Year (10) - she wants to perfect her posture and her French.
The Saved star insists she has put off getting fit for too long and she plans to set herself the goal of staying in shape in 2010.
She tells Shape magazine, "I've always had bad posture, and Pilates makes me feel taller and reminds me to keep my shoulders back... After Pilates, I should do some cardio, and after hiking, I need to do some resistance training.
"I have all the equipment in my house and it's just collecting dust, so, after I get home from Pilates, I'm going to jump on my mini trampoline for 15 minutes.
"And after a hike, I'll do some weightlifting or get down on my mat and do a set or two of crunches."
Moore also plans to learn how to cook in 2010, take a "real break" with her husband Ryan Adams, and study French.
She adds, "Ever since I was a kid, my dream has been to live in Paris. I'd still like to do that someday... but first I need to become fluent in French. I studied it in high school, but it never really stuck.
"My plan is to, every day before dinner, I'm going to schedule 15 minutes to do one of the (French) lessons on my computer. No more excuses."
