Maksim Chmerkovskiy will no longer be appearing on the small screen in his dancing shoes. The Latin Ballroom dance champion was first introduced to viewers of ABC's 'Dancing With The Stars' in the second series back in 2006, and stayed as a regular professional partner until the 15th season.

After a two year hiatus, Chmerkovskiy returned to grace the dance floor once again, but this would end up being the last time as he has decided not to return for the reality show's 19th season because the experience just wasn't the same.

"I'm done dancing," he said on 'The View' Tuesday (July 29th) about leaving the 'DWTS.' "I feel like it's time."

"When I came back to the show, it was not the same.I was different, probably," he continued, referring to his first time leaving in February 2013. "When I came back, I saw this amazing talent.I looked at it and thought they can do much more and better. I was taking up a huge spot."

What is most surprising about these comments is that Chmerkovskiy and his partner, Olympic ice skater Meryl Davis, won the Mirrorball trophy for the first time ever in his returning season. But this isn't the first time he has spoken of leaving the competition show.
