Maggie Siff, the American actress best known for playing Tara Knowles on the hit FX show Sons of Anarchy, is pregnant with her first child at 39. Siff announced the news on her Twitter bio - "future mom."

The actress told Us Weekly that she's past the nausea phase and managed to get through shooting the new season of Anarchy without too much hassle. "I'm feeling a lot a lot better, a lot more energetic. We just finished shooting the season, which is good."

As for cravings, it looks as though Maggie has fallen lucky. "...a little bit of ice cream.nothing too much. Yogurt [and] dairy," she said.

Siff isn't the only celebrity to announce her pregnancy this week - Rush actress Olivia Wilde is also expecting with fiance Jason Sudeikis. People magazine said on Sunday that the 29-year-old - who gained fame on House - are "incredibly happy" with the news.

"They're very excited to welcome a new member into their family," said an insider who spoke with the magazine.

Though Siff's show Sons of Anarchy is one of the most popular offerings on U.S television, it garnered a boost in publicity this month after its star Charlie Hunnam was cast to play Christian Grey in Universal and Focus Features' Fifty Shades of Grey movie. However, the British-born actor dropped out of the project - reportedly over a dispute over the script - and was replaced by The Fall actor Jamie Dornan.

Congratulations to Maggie Siff and her husband.
