Fact: The Sixth Sense director M. Night Shyamalan is developing a spooky new TV series based on the Tales from the Crypt franchise. Shyamalan is working with TV executives at U.S. cable network TNT to create a season of horror shorts, which will debut at the end of 2016. Tales from the Crypt originally aired on HBO for seven seasons beginning in 1989.
