Lupita Nyong'o's Calvin Klein gown for this year's Oscars was ''life-changing'' according renowned celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe.
Lupita Nyong'o's Oscars look was 'life-changing'.
According to celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe, the 31-year-old actress stole the show at this year's Academy Awards in her custom Calvin Klein pearl gown and described the raven-haired beauty's choice of outfit, designed by the label's creative director, Francisco Costa, as ''spectacular''.
She said of the $15,000 gown, which was stolen last week and later found in a Hollywood hotel bathroom: ''Lupita Nyong'o in Calvin Klein, that was just life-changing for me. Francisco Costa, who did that dress, is a very dear friend and to be honest that dress had to be my number one, it was just spectacular.''
The fashion designer also counts Best Actress winner Julianne Moore's embellished Chanel gown amongst the top looks of the night, as well as 'Gone Girl' star Rosamund Pike's stunning crimson Givenchy dress.
She said: ''Julianne Moore in Chanel, that was a major black and white moment which I never get tired of. I loved the Givenchy on Rosamund Pike, too. That was gorgeous.''
The blonde beauty - who started her own clothing collection in 2011 - added she loves to dress up any outfit with a pair of shoes and believes embellishment is key when it comes to making footwear ''pop''.
She told Stylelist.com: ''I think the great thing about shoes is that it's such a small platform - as in, the space you're using is so small - so you can really get away with a pop. So if it's sequins, grommets, studs, pearls, you can do it right along the toe and it's so chic.''
