The 31-year-old actress' white pearl gown, worth more than $150,000, was stolen from her hotel room only days after wearing it to the Oscars.
The glamorous gown Lupita Nyong'o wore to Sunday evening's (Feb 22nd) Academy Awards, which she loaned out from Calvin Klein, was reportedly stolen from the Oscar-winner's hotel room only days after the ceremony took place.
Nyong'o's Calvin Klein whit epearl gown was stolen from her hotel suite
According to TMZ, the gown, made from 6,000 white pearls and is worth more than $150,000, was stolen out of her hotel suite at the London West Hollywood on Tuesday (Feb 24th), between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., when Nyongo wasn't in her room.
Since the '12 Years A Slave' actress brought a rather large party to the Oscars, including makeup artists, stylists, fitters and close friends, it is believed that an array of people were able to get keycards that granted access to her hotel room.

A source also told the New York Daily News that Nyong'o attempted to file a report with the authorities immediately, but she was unable to do so because the dress didn't belong to her. Calvin Klein had to report the missing white Francisco Costa gown to the police.
"We got a call at about 11:30 last night from someone at the London Hotel about a high value dress that was stolen from a hotel room," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Officer John Mitchell has stated.
Police are now reviewing the hotel's surveillance footage in hopes of spotting someone leaving the room carrying a garment bag.

Calvin Klein will be very eager to find the culprit and retrieve the dress because its designer, Francisco Costa, claims it is one of a kind.
"Working closely with Lupita over the past few months," Costa said during the Oscars. "We decided to use natural pearls to create a truly modern, timeless dress that compliments her style and echoes the aesthetic of Calvin Klein Collection."
