The Oscar winning actress has topped the magazine’s annual list.
People has named Sandra Bullock the world’s most beautiful woman for 2015, the magazine announced on NBC's 'Today' show. Gracing the magazine's May cover, the 50 year old actress said she thought “that's ridiculous” upon hearing of the honour, adding that she’d so far told no one.
Sandra Bullock is People’s most beautiful woman for 2015.
"Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it's just so hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that,' " Bullock explained to the mag. ”No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they're in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren't trying."

After a week of mystery and intrigue, the dress worn by actress Lupita Nyong’o to The Oscars has been found – in the hotel room where it was first reported stolen.
The pearl-covered gown, reported to be an eye-watering $150,000, was taken from a hotel room at the London West Hollywood on Wednesday. However, a man believed to be the thief returned it to the same place and tipped off TMZ where it could be found and, weirdly, why he had given it back.

So... giant pile of pearls, anyone?
About Lupita Nyong'o's Oscar gown - the thing is beautiful, expensive and unfortunately, still missing. The dress went missing on Wednesday, post-Oscars ceremony, when the fashion-forward actress had left it in her hotel room.
The dress was spectacular, just like anything else Nyong'o wears.
The dress featured a cascade of 6,000 natural pearls and - in its intact state - cost over $150,000 - easily the most expensive piece at the ceremony. It was a white Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein and is apparently un-re-sellable, due to its infamy. However, some reports claim quite the opposite - that in fact, the pearls could be extremely valuable on their own. According to the NY Times' Page Six, earl experts estimated the individual pearls could be worth anywhere from $1 million to $10 million.

You'd think they'd have bothered to double-check the name spelling of the recipient of the 'Lifetime Achievement Award'!
Whoever was in charge of the captioning at last night's BET Awards should hang their head in shame after they misspelled the name of the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award, Lionel Richie. During the televised coverage of the Black Entertainment Television Awards on Sunday night (29th June), which was watched by millions around the world, the broadcasting team managed to spell Richie's surname as "Ritchie."
Sure, plenty of worse things could have happened, but it's still a pretty embarrassing move considering Richie was practically the guest of honor at the bash. To make matters worse, the mistake flashed on the screen in large lettering as the 65 year-old soul star headed to collect his prize.
Soon the hashtag "#lionelritchie" began trending on Twitter as viewers picked up on the blunder and quickly spread the news leading to embarrassment for the show's production team.

It looks like JJ Abrams and his team are building a full-size Millennium Falcon for the new movie.
We have been given our first look at the brand new Millennium Falcon that is being built for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, thanks to an alleged photo leak TMZ has published. The new shots, which are purported to feature full-size space vehicles from the sci-fi franchise, have strongly hinted that Han Solo's iconic spaceship and others will be included in Jj Abrams upcoming reboot.
If the photos are real, they are evidence that Abrams' team has decided to create full-size versions of the vehicles that George Lucas' movies only made in miniature model sizes. It will also indicate that Episode VII will use minimal CGI effects in favour of high spec props and spacecraft models. Eagle-eyed observers also spotted what looks like an X-Wing starfighter amongst the other unknown constructions.
The photos were evidently taken in some kind of cavernous hangar which fans are speculating could be England's Pinewood Studios, where much of the movie's filming will take place. Vast sets are shown being built out of wood and covered with ladders and scaffolding as Abrams' vision slowly takes form.
