Lindsay Lohan Offering Reward For Return Of Stolen Laptop After China Visit

Lindsay Lohan's laptop has been stolen during a visit to the Chinese city of Shanghai where she was visiting for the Sohu Fashion Achievement Awards on Monday. The laptop was apparently taken from the airport when the 27 year-old actress was on her way home.

The Canyons actress shared her anguish over the theft on Twitter: "It was great to be in China and I want to thank everyone for their hospitality, however someone has stolen my computer at the airport...offering a reward for anyone who can retrieve and rtn it, bummer to go home w/o it. xo L."

Apparently, not only did the laptop contain private correspondence between Lohan and other high profile stars, said to include Woody Allen and Lady GaGa, but the hard drive also held plenty of images of the actress, many of which she probably wouldn't want anyone to see, alleges TMZ.

A Reward Is Being Offered For The Return Of Lindsay's Laptop.

The starlet travelled to China after spending her New Year's Eve in New York City. She partied in Shanghai clubs before attending the annual fashion awards ceremony at the beginning of this week. What started as a fun trip to Asia turned stressful after the actress was the unfortunate victim of a theft.

This isn't the first time Lindsay has been robbed: 2009 saw the Mean Girls star targeted by a gang of notorious celebrity burglars, dubbed The Bling Ring, who ransacked her Hollywood home.

The Embattled Star Is Planning To Release New Music & A Memoir.

Having been the centre of plenty of negative press this year, owing to her yo-yoing to and from rehab due to substance, Lindsay apparently wants to set the record straight and get back on track.

She is said to not only be in the process of recording her third studio album but is also writing a memoir which is expected to candidly detail her side of the story, including growing up as a child star, the drugs allegations and her relationships with other celebrities.
