With all the bad news around Lindsay Lohan of late, it’s clear the young star has hit rock bottom again, or is at least very close to it. But Lohan realizes she needs help this time.

According to TMZ, the young actress has been telling friends that she thought she was getting back on track after completing her sentence for a jewelry theft in March, but if there’s anything we’ve learned in the past decade, it’s that it is hard to keep a Lohan down (in this case, out of trouble).

Of all the people who have been extending help to Lindsay recently, most notably Charlie Sheen for sending her a check for $100 000 and New York's Scores nightclub offering to pay the costs on the star’s storage locker, she has still continued on her downward spiral. Last Wednesday (December 12) the star did not attend a court hearing on the three charges she incurred in a traffic accident in June. While her attendance wasn’t mandatory, the court did not rule in her favor and now the procecution is seeking jail time for the “mean girl”. Add to this the charges she has incurred on her storage locker and the possibility of losing a lot of her possessions, as well as Lindsay’s ever-present struggles with substance abuse, and it’s not hard to see how she might be in over her head.

Attending mandatory counseling could be her only way to avoid jail time at this point, but with all of her financial and legal trouble, as well as compulsive party habits, this may well be the only way for the star to pull herself together.
