Actress Linda Gray Is To Celebrate Turning 75 Years Old Next Month (Sep15) By Releasing A Tell-all Memoir Detailing Her Troubled Childhood, Her Marriage Woes, And Her Glittering Career.
The Dallas star is set to unveil The Road to Happiness Is Always Under Construction on 8 September (15), four days before she celebrates her personal milestone on 12 September (15).
In the book, Gray will recall her childhood battle with polio and the pain of living with an alcoholic mother, and will also chart her turbulent marriage to art director Ed Thrasher and her years playing oil baron J.R. Ewing's wife Sue Ellen in the iconic TV drama.
In a statement, bosses at publishing house Simon & Schuster write, "To celebrate her seventy-fifth birthday, Linda is opening up about her life for the first time. Inside this book, she tells deeply personal stories with wit, humor, and candor, and reveals how she's learned to love every day as the blessing it is and to treat herself with the kindness she bestows on friends and strangers alike."
